Location

The gateway to Queensland's tropical north, Cairns is a stylish city, which is also renowned for its relaxed, tropical climate and laid back ambience. With islands, rainforests and reefs on its doorstep, from Cairns you can swim, snorkel, dive and sail the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef. Immerse yourself in the World Heritage Wet Tropics Rainforest, or take the scenic railway to the tranquil, butterfly-fringed village of Kuranda and cruise amongst colourful parrots, platypus and fresh water crocodiles. The city of Cairns offers visitors a fabulous selection of Diving Tours to the Great Barrier Reef. Most all of the Day Tour operators will offer Diving for Certified Scuba Divers (licensed divers) or for those who would simply like to try Scuba Diving for the very first time as Introductory Divers (non licensed divers). Cairns Day Diving excursions are an excellent option for those who would like to Scuba Dive on the Great Barrier Reef but are travelling on time constraints or a budget. The Cairns Diving day vessel tours will visit one, two or up to three reef sites in a day. When choosing a suitable Cairns Diving tour you will need to consider a few points; If you are an experienced Certified Scuba Diver you may like to travel with a small group, or alternately you may be travelling on a tight budget and be happy to travel on a budget vessel that carries larger passenger numbers with discounted diving. If you require pertinent recommendations and or advice, specific to your needs, why not ask one of our friendly team of sales staff and we can help you to choose what type of reef tour will work best for you.
