A popular shore dive is at Havelet Bay, which provides constant shelter from the tidal streams and compared to other bays relatively deep water. This shore dive provides easy access to a variety of dive environments: reef, sand, gravel and a seaweed forest.

The average water temperature is 15 – 20°C during the summer months (April to October), 6-15°C during the winter months (November- March). Visibility varies depending on the season but will average around 10 meters.
Getting to Guernsey is easy by car and passenger ferries from Poole and Portsmouth. There are also routes by air from London, Edinburgh, Bristol, Southampton and more.
