Ivory Coast is an African country located on the west coast of the continent between Liberia and Ghana. This French speaking nation is a fabulous blend of history and nature. Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Guinea can be easily accessed from Ivory Coast. This makes it an ideal for marine sports and activities like scuba diving. The water temperature is 25- 30 degrees Celsius but may drop to a cool 20 degrees at a depth of 40 meters. The marine life in the waters off Ivory Coast is diverse and is home to many fish species and coral reefs. However, the internal security situation and lack of interest by the government in promoting tourism does not bode well for potential divers raring to pay a visit.
