The Conflict Islands Atoll is made up of 21 pristine, privately owned, uninhabited islands covering a total landmass of 375 Hectares (925 acres). At the Conflict Islands Resort on the main island of Panasesa, there are 6 private beach front en-suite bungalows just a stone’s throw away from our trademark white sand making up the stunning lagoon beach side of the island. Situated alongside the bungalows is our main clubhouse where you can relax in peace whilst enjoying our delicious and freshly prepared meals, drinks menu and free satellite wi-fi in the comfortable lounge, beach front deck or first floor balcony overlooking the stunning Conflict Islands’ lagoon with colours like no other place on earth.
Milne Bay Province is full of life with its incredible underwater life listed in the top three world sites, according to National Geographic Magazine. Assessments conducted in Milne Bay several years ago recorded nearly 430 species of coral, 950 species of mollusks and over 1,100 species of fish, many found nowhere else in the world due to it being location within the epicentre of marine biodiversity. The Conflict Islands are sensational for SCUBA divers of all experience levels and offer dives with smaller groups tailor made to your preferences and skill level. We choose dive sites based on weather and underwater conditions throughout your stay so that you can enjoy the best of what is on offer. Daily schedules are made to suit your holiday whilst your guide will take care of the more mundane tasks such as gear setup and planning. All equipment can be provided as part of your stay which is well looked after and maintained; however, it is recommended you bring you own mask, fins, thermal wear and dive computer if possible to ensure maximum comfortability.
