Indiana University has a longstanding history of scuba diving training – beginning in 1963. The Academic Diving Program (ADP) provides training in recreational and scientific diving activities, using scuba as a tool to gain access to biological and cultural resources of the underwater realm. Indiana University does not offer public scuba training courses. Instruction is limited to those affiliated with the University and enrolled in classes.
