Duttons Divers - Vivian Dive Centre

PADI 5 Star Dive Center

 Vivian Dive Centre is a designated UNESCO site. The site is an old slate quarry, located in the stunning Snowdonia, Llanberis.

The site offers fantastic visibility all year around, as unlike most dive sites, there is little silt.

Vivian is probably the most picturesque dive site of inland dive sites. ,

The dive site itself offers a maximum depth of 18m, making this the perfect location for novice divers, as well as the more experienced.

What to expect

Are you interested in making videos an taking photos? Or want to capture the moment under the water? Then why not take our course in underwater digital photography and videography?

During the course, we will teach you the following:

- Different types of camera

- How to set up the camera

- Buoyancy to assist with your photos 

- How to use various computer media for your photos and videos

- Techniques for taking photos under the water

- Lenses and other camera related equipment

The course is conducted over two dives. We will first take you within our confined training area so that you can get used to using the camera. We will then head in to the deeper parts of the quarry to practise the techniques learnt in deeper water.
The course includes all course materials, kit hire, entry fees to the dive site and tuition.
