1. BOOKING

Once we receive your booking, we double check availability with the dive operator and reserve your spot

2. CONFIRMATION

We usually get back to you within 24 hours to confirm that your booking is final

3. 48H FREE CANCELLATION PERIOD

You then have 48 hours to take care of other travel arrangements. Your credit card will only be charged after that period

STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel more than 30 days before the start of your trip, you will lose 20% of the total booking, 30% for more than 15 days, 50% for more than 6 days, 80% for more than 1 day and 100% if you cancel within 1 day of your trip.

SPECIAL CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) CANCELLATION POLICY: New bookings made from 3 March 2020 until 20 April 2020 can cancel without any penalty (fully refundable) if the following occurs: Guest is diagnosed with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and has medical evidence to prove as such. Guest’s home country bans travel to Egypt Egypt bans arrivals from the guest’s home country.

In the following cases we will allow a postponement/rebooking of their stay for up to 12 months from the intended arrival date: If the guest does not want to travel due to the current situation and uncertainty. If neither the departure country or Egypt restricts travel but the airline cancels the flight. Postponement will be according to availability and any difference in pricing (either seasonal or otherwise) will be charged as extra.

Description

Since the founding in 1990, Red Sea Diving Safari has grown into a world-class diving destination.

The eco-diving concept has been internationally recognized as a model of tourism development and the villages offer you the experience of what has become known as "The Eco-diving Adventure".

You can do up to four dives per day including two guided dives by RIB at the Fury Shoals in the morning, then a further in-range unguided couple of dives in the afternoon. Unguided night dive is offered.

As a PADI Diving Centre, the full range of PADI courses are offered and the local conditions are suitable for divers of all levels.

Resort Description

Wadi Lahami is an eco-diving village located 140 km south of Marsa Alam and 400 km south of Hurghada.

Opened in March 2000, it is the ideal place to explore the untouched and wrongly-forgotten reefs of southern Egypt. Enjoy convenient access to the most beautiful diving spots, far from mass tourism.

At Wadi Lahami, divers have the chance to dive on reefs otherwise only accessible by cruise. This location is great for free divers, nature lovers and bird watchers.

Guests can stay in bedouin tents or the Royal Tent directly on the oceanfront, or in the Chalets, a typical Egyptian construction with a domed roof. 

 

 

How to get there

Arrival

  • The village is located 393km south of Hurghada Airport and 180km south of Marsa Alam Airport.
  • Private transfers can be arranged by the resort for an additional charge (advance notice required). 
  • A Red Sea Diving Safari driver will meet you outside the terminal building.
  • Check in time is at 2pm. 

Departure

  • Return rental equipment to the diving center and confirm diving activities with the base leader. 
  • Check out time is at 12pm;  late checkout until 2pm is free of charge according to availability.
  • Once you have checked out, the driver will escort you to the airport (advance notice required, additional cost).
