Resort Description

Visit Lembeh Strait for year-round diving with more macro life than you can imagine! Having been in Lembeh for more than 10 years, Two Fish Divers know their turf, and are keen to share it with you! Dive into the muck diving capital of the world and discover elusive critters like the hairy frog fish, pygmy seahorse and mimic octopus. The PADI 5* resort operates a maximum capacity of 24 divers, so you can rest assured your time with Two Fish Divers Lembeh will be highly personalised, tranquil and welcoming. The isolated nature of the resort can be extended to the wider island, with only 25,000 international arrivals a year. This means you can bank on uncrowded diving in warm seas with an average visibility of around 10-15m. What’s more is that the majority of dive sites are reached within 10 minutes’ drive, allowing you maximum time underwater and for relaxing on the secluded beach and garden space.
Two Fish Lembeh is tucked away on a private beach on the tropical island of Lembeh. With its own exclusive bay, both the dive center, shop, café and cottage guest rooms share peaceful views of the bay and tropical mountains beyond. Grab a cold, post-dive beer, enjoy a game of darts or flick through one of the many fish ID books on the shelf at the resort’s café. Choose from a variety of main courses including fish, chicken, eggs and meat, as well as tofu and tempe. Alternatively, you may wish to chill out in your traditional-style, wooden cottage. Your spacious, private veranda with comfortable seating is the perfect place to get stuck into a good book or to soak up superb sunset views.

Explore diving around the Two Fish Divers Lembeh Resort

What to see

If it’s weird, you are likely to find it in the Lembeh Straits. Top critters on every diver and photographers wish list include the mimic octopus, Wonderpus, Rhinopias, flamboyant cuttlefish, Ambon scorpionfish, harlequin shrimp, and the very entertaining hairy frogfish. If lucky, you might also come across the delicate Lembeh Sea Dragon. Also, be boggled by the wide array of nudibranch and during night dives, look out for stargazers in the sand and Spanish dancers passing by in the darkness.

At areas like Bunaken and the nearby Bangka, dolphins or pilot whales can sometimes be seen from the surface. Underwater, expect green sea turtles, schools of trevally and colorful reef fish along the many walls. Bangka and Manado Tua also feature a myriad of critters.

If you dive around the Sangihe Archipelago and Talaud Islands, the healthy reefs and volcanic activity yield many colorful reef fish and schools of fusilier, snapper and predators like trevally, barracuda and Dogtooth tuna. Macro life is also abundant and there are pygmy seahorses, crabs and shrimp as well as nudibranch to find at muck dive sites. Look out for pelagic animals which come to feed and clean like manta rays, sharks and even hammerhead sharks.
