Y-40 The Deep Joy

Y-40® The Deep Joy is the deepest thermal water pool in the world.

Y-40® is a swimming pool completely made in Italy, conceived and designed by the architect Emanuele Boaretto. It is a masterpiece both of architecture, for the attention with which the technique has been responsible towards the landscape, historical and aesthetic needs of the territory, and of engineering, for the ability with which the workers involved in the construction have from time to time resolved problems that were not conceivable during the design stage.

• Record depth 42.15m (more than a 13-storey building);
• Temperature of the bromine-iodine thermal water: 32-34°C which allows you to dive without a wetsuit.
• Volume of the pool with thermal water: 4,300m3;
• The only suspended tunnel in the world immersed and transparent, a 13m long bridge;

• Platforms at different depths: -1.3m,-5m,-6m,-8m,-10m,-12m,-15, -42.15m;
• 60 meters of route in underwater caves designed to carry out speleo-diving courses from the first levels up to professional training.

Y-40® The Deep Joy, in addition to being a structure suitable for freediving and diving, is a submerged space that hosts
