The Tanjong Jara Resort Dive Centre operates daily trips from Dungun to nearby Tenggol Island, part of the Terengganu Marine Park.
Just 45 minutes by speedboat, Tenggol is renowned for its white sandy beaches, lush jungle, and some of Malaysia’s most pristine coral gardens. With more than 30 dive sites, the island offers unforgettable experiences for beginners and exciting challenges for experienced divers, with the chance to encounter whale sharks in season.
The dive center provides fun dives in small groups, PADI courses, snorkeling trips, and rental of brand-new equipment. Guests can even complete their PADI Open Water Diver certification, with the theory studied at home before arrival.
