Coco Cabanas

Coco Cabanas offers 14 clean and comfortable self catering apartments, minutes walk from the Ponta Do Ouro's long beach.

Diving in southern Mozambique offers a chance to spot all the big stuff! Whale sharks, dolphins, reef sharks, manta rays, reef fish and turtles. It is not uncommon to see humpback whales as they pass by on thier migration north from the Antarctic. 

The accomodation is made up of single story, air conditioned cabanas, each with double and twin beds. Each room comes with bedding and mosquito nets. Facilities include a kitchenette with 2 stove gas cooker, shared freezer, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. 

The grounds offer free parking, a 24-hour security guard, a small bar with pool table and a communal braai and dining area. 

Within the gardens you will find a well-maintained sandpit with buckets and spades for keeping the kids happy!

Arrival

• Transfers are arranged through the dive center. You can choose to be picked up from the airport in Maputo, or the Kosi Bay border with South Africa (additional cost).  
• You may drive yourself, but it is recommended that you drive in the daytime because there are no street lights and it makes it very difficult to see people, animals and potholes! If you are driving you'll need to make sure you have your driving license, car papers and insurance. You should join the DriveMoz Facebook group before travelling.

Departure:

• You can return via transfer to Maputo Airport or Komatipoort border (at additional cost), or drive yourself.
