The entire region surrounding Anse Chastanet is made up of an award winning marine reserve which has been established since 1995 to protect the pristine beauty of St.Lucia's coral reefs. Anse Chastanet Reef is home to more than 150 different species of fish and makes for an amazing dive, day or night. In the shallow areas you'll see peacock flounders, octopus, needle fish and turtles. Resort Description

Anse Chastanet is a luxury 4* resort where you can scuba-dive and jungle trek by day, and have candlelit dinners in an atmospheric treehouse by night.

Anse Chastanet is exactly what you would expect from its nature-loving architect owner. The resort is bordered by two soft sand beaches, the twin-peaked backdrop is a lush World Heritage Site, and the resort's two crystal clear bays are part of a designated marine reserve, providing miles of underwater sanctuary buzzing with colorful marine life.

A string of a dozen rooms line the beach shaded by coconut palms, and the rest of the rooms are scattered among the floral hillside. All of them are designed to make the most of the panoramic views of the striking Caribbean Sea. Some of the extra-large deluxe suites even have their 4th wall open entirely to the elements, while remaining totally secluded.

For active days, choose from yoga, snorkeling, scuba diving, tennis, sunset sailing, sea kayaking or jungle biking, hiking and bird-watching among the ruins of an 18th century colonial plantation. For lazier days, get pampered at the spa or have an ice cold cocktail by the beach. Two treehouses provide atmospheric and unforgettable settings for candlelit dinners.
