What to see

One of the most popular draw to the islands are the abundance of sea turtles that seek refuge here. There is a great chance of swimming with these fascinating creatures during your stay on the islands.

Sharks and rays patrol the reefs, brimming with colorful fish and healthy coral. If you’re really lucky, you may get a chance to see dolphins or porpoises playing in the shallows.

Dive Center

  • Dive Provo is included in TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame
  • Waters fall within a protected Princess Alexandra National Park
  • Stunning shoreline protected by a continuous barrier reef
  • Access to offshore cays with untouched diving grounds, where large pelagics feed and breed
  • Dive Provo operates 3 modern dive boats
  • Divers are asked to go directly to the dive boat at Turtle Cove Marina, so car rental is advised if you are located further away
  • The depth on many of the wall dives means a computer is required for all divers

Dive Provo is a member of the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame and gives divers access to the very best diving offered on Turks & Caicos.

The center is owned and operated by Alan and Clare Jardine, who both have 30+ years of experience in the industry. They run a regular schedule of a daily two-tank dive to the following areas: Northwest Point, West Caicos, French Cay, Sandbore Channel, Pine Cay and Grace Bay. Single tank dives are scheduled most afternoons and go out to the closest dive area of Grace Bay.

The center operates on the basis of  'diving freedom,' matching skill level and need with the experience on the day. Experienced buddies can plan and plot their own dives, while newer divers are offered advice on buoyancy control and navigation and may prefer to follow the guide in the water.

Resort Description

Royal West Indies Resort is a traditionally luxurious home-from-home on beautiful Grace Bay Beach in the Turks & Caicos Islands, boasting white sand beach and clear blue seas.

When you dive from Grace Bay, you encounter a plethora of colorful marine life. The serene shoreline is protected by continuous barrier reef, which itself forms part of the Princess Alexandra National Park.

On the shallow reefs, you can expect to see turtles, barracuda, batfish, snappers, golden-tailed morays and many, many more characters. Those in search of the bigger stuff would do well to head to the offshore cays where untouched diving grounds set the scene for visions of large pelagics feeding and breeding.

Back at the hotel, enjoy some well-deserved rest by the pool with a tropical cocktail in hand. Step the relaxation up a notch with an indulgent full body massage, or stay active with a round of golf (off-site).
