Volcano Crater. depth ranges from 6 m to 45 m Fresh water with boat and shore access.
Shore access is down a rock wall. Care must be taken if entering from here, fisherman often use this point and fishing line can be left in the water. Boat diving offers a greater variety of sites within the lake to dive, only private boats operate in this Region. This is an interesting dive, offering rock wall, schools of small fish hiding in the weed, a good spot to find lost boat anchors too. Tech divers and Freedivers use this lake for training as deep dives are possible from shore without a boat. It is a good site for those days where the sea is not being kind. A torch should be carried, as should a DSMB and tow a dive float, this is a popular fishing lake and boat traffic can be a hazard.
