The Lake is the first dive site in the south after the residential beach villas. This is a great site for both beginners and advanced divers due to the gradual sloping bottom which allows you to choose your depth according to your training. Also a wonderful site for night dives. The Lake has an easy entrance after which you can swim to the mooring buoy or descend straight away to enjoy the staghorn and gorgonian corals in the shallows, here you will also find many juvenile fish. The dive site is named after the lake shaped sand patch that lies at 20-24m between the two reef systems. The first reef system as well as the reef surrounding the “lake” sandy patch has a healthy coral coverage with various hard corals, with very distinct coral structures, and is the most enjoyable area of this site.
