Be aware of the current on this site, pay attention to when slack tide is and keep an eye on the time. There's also an entanglement danger at this site, there's quite a few downed crab traps. Having a cutting tool or two on you is a good idea.
There's washrooms and plenty of parking. There's also a nice picnic area and beaches in the area.
