Auf der Seestrasse fährt man von Küssnacht am Rigi Richtung Vitznau. Kurz vor der Ortseinfahrt, nach der Bushaltestelle “Unterwilen” ist ein Parkplatz auf der linken Seite. Der Platz wird im Sommer auch von Nichttauchern gerne besucht.
Die WC-Anlage ist nicht durchgehend geöffnet.
Praktisch über das ganze Jahr können Egli, Trüschen und Hechte beobachtet werden. Im Frühling findet die grosse Kröten-Hochzeit statt.

Der bevorzugte Tauchgang beginnt mit dem Einstieg über den Kiesstrand am rechten Ende und endet bei der Treppe am linken Ende des Parks. Es hat viele spannende Felsformationen, einen Baumstamm in ca. 20 Metern Tiefe und in der flachen Bucht Seegraswiesen. Dort verstecken sich oft Jungfische. Im Frühjahr sind viele Erdkröten am Laichen. Bitte achtet auf die empfindlichen Laichschnüre.
Achtung:
Der Ein- und Ausstieg beim Kiesstrand ist vom 1. September bis 31. Dezember verboten. Vom 1. Juni bis 31. August ist der Ein- und Ausstieg zwischen 10 Uhr und 20 Uhr verboten.
Der linke Ein- und Ausstieg ist vom 1. September bis 31. Mai gestattet. Vom 1. Juni bis 31. August ist der Ein- und Ausstieg zwischen 10 Uhr und 20 Uhr verboten.
