This is a natural harbour with manmade features next to a quarry site.
There are believed to be two wrecks here but we have only found one so far! the wreck is believed to be the Fore Derrick which was a small fishing boat.
To find the wreck simply drop in from the slipway and locate the mooring line in 5m of water and follow it out. The wreck itself is in 14m-15m of water and is plenty big enough to explore. You can enter the wheelhouse only of the wreck.
Excellent buoyancy is advised on…

Excellent buoyancy is advised on this site as the bottom is very gloopy mud which lifts as clouds that take a while to settle.
Exploring the wreck should yield a few Nudibranch and we even found a thornback ray here during a recent dive.
Heading back to the shore, on the left hand side of the harbour is a rocky reef like area that is good to have a look around and lessens the chance of a silt out.
