Chumphon Marine Park is one of the lesser known diving spots in the Gulf of Thailand. If you have the opportunity to go diving in Chumphon marine park, you will get to experience the huge variety of marine life.
Most divers will find the dazzling beauty of black corals, large anemones, frog fish and turtles. Of course including Chumphon’s “gentle giants”- whale sharks. They are especially popular in Chumphon as they are seen almost every year. For the more adventurous, there are dive sites with caves, wrecks and swim-throughs to explore.
There aren’t hordes of divers as it has not been hit by the mass tourism. Chumphon Marine Park can be extremely rewarding both to the novice and experienced divers.
