Diving Las Terrenas

Explore diving Las Terrenas

Most of the diving sites in Las Terrenas are coral reefs with very interesting formations, at average depth ranging from 10 meters to 16 meters.

The reefs are usually located about 10-15 minutes by boat from the coast.

There are some dives where we can find tunnels and there is at least one sunken ship at about 25 meters deep.

When to dive Las Terrenas

The best time of the year in terms of sea conditions is from May to September, when we find the most stable conditions, less waves and fewer storms.

In the months of October to April we have more instability, we find good days interspersed with bad ones and storms that prevent diving for days.
