Agia Pelagia offers a variety of diving locations, which are ideal for both experienced and inexperienced divers, for scuba diving training and for night dives as well. The reefs start from 3 meters and can be up to 40 meters deep, forming underwater "mountains" with canyons, slopes and plenty swim throughs. This area can be a home of many different mediterranean species of any size, as well as seals, loggerhead turtles (caretta caretta) and occasionaly dolphins as well.
Agia Pelagia is perfect for any time of the year since it is well protected from high winds and has usually less waves than other areas as well. The water temperature starts rising from April and can reach 27 degrees Celcius during August and until mid September. The weather remains great until the end of October and it can still be sunny during November as well.
