Barcelona is full of rocky coral reefs full of life: barracudas, moray eels, groupers. castanets, dentex, bream, amberjack are regulars. Depending on the time of year you can enjoy parsnips and sea eagles, mola mola or dolphins are also common in spring and winter.
The protected area includes Posidonia oceanica meadows, one of the largest on the Catalan coast, with its associated fauna and the incredible beauty that it represents.
The dives are simple and adapted to all levels, from beginners to more experienced. At depths ranging from 5 to 40m
Winter: Minimum temperature 13ºC, crystal clear waters as long as there are no storms. It is the best time to enjoy life associated with the rock as the algae are in decline. Seeing dolphins is relatively easy
Spring: Temperature 18ºC minimum, the algae begin their boom with the heat. It is the time of the sunfish and many nudibranchs in "flirting"
Summer: Temperature 26ºC, calm waters, the mornings more than the afternoons, but always incredible once you put your head under the water ... At the beginning of summer the parsnips are full and at the end of the eagles.
Autumn: Temperature 21ºC, somewhat more unpredictable weather, but eagles, dentex, groupers, lobsters, moray eels ... are celebrating!
