With one declared Marine Reserve and few very interesting dive sites located in Mazarrón Bay, Puerto de Mazarrón offers some of the best dive sites in the Mediterranean Sea.
Buceo Hispania is located in Mazarrón Bay, 20 minutes boat ride from Cabo Tiñoso Marine Reserve.
The Marine Reserve was declared in July 2016.
The marine reserve offers 16 dive sites suitable for all the levels, where we can enjoy beautiful submerged landscapes, healthy oceanic posidonia and the mesmerizing marine biodiversity of our Mediterranean coast. Most dives are wall dives, but there are some pinnacles, caves and wrecks in the area too.
There are a few Mola Mola cleaning stations along the marine reserve. Another highlight is the submerged shipwreck called "Nalon". These 2 divesites offer an amazing landscape and biodiversity.
High season is from June to October, when the eastern winds blows, bringing warm and clear waters to our coastline.
Low season is from November to May, when the water temperature drops. This cold water brings abundance of nutrients, and the marine biodiversity increase.
