The main areas for diving in Wales are Pembrokeshire in the south-west and Anglesey in the north-west. Pembrokeshire National Park and Skomer Island are home to large colonies of seals while Anglessey has a number of mysterious wrecks, some of which are still undiscovered.

When to dive in Wales

The typical dive season is from April-October but Wales can be dived all year. Many divers would want to consider a dry suit with hood and gloves. Water temperature ranges from 4°C/39°F in April to 14°C /57°F in September.
