Resort Description

Palau Royal Resort is one of only two resorts in Koror offering a private beach and shallow lagoon. 

The hotel is located just outside Koror, offering a tranquil oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. The resort is tucked within well-kept tropical gardens and boasts two large swimming pools surrounded by padded sun loungers and palm trees. Each room is freshly decorated and offers a balcony with island or ocean views. 

The hotel offers a restaurant and two bars which serve noodles, croissants, steak, seafood an more. Waves Restaurant is open daily from 6:30 am till 10 pm, serving a la carte and buffet treats for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Come evening, make sure you stop by Breeze Bar - an open air bar located on a waterfront deck. Its no-doubt on of the best places to watch the sunset around Koror. 

Palau offers a world of exploration for divers. Due to its often stronger currents, it is a fab destination for drift diving. During your stay, its likely you'll see blacktip reef sharks, hammerheads, mantas, dolphins and turtles. For something unique, dont miss the jellyfish lake - swim or snorkel with hundreds of no-sting jellies!

How to get there

Arrival

  • The closest airport is Palau International Airport (ROR).
  • Palau Royal Resort is just 25 minutes' drive from the airport.
  • Transfer from/to the airport can be arranged (advance notice required).
  • Check-in any time after 3pm.

Departure

  • Check-out any time before 12pm.
  • Once you have checked out at the reception you can make your way to the airport or to your next destination. Resort staff will be on hand to assist you with your luggage. 
  • An airport/town transfer can be arranged in advance via the resort.
