Jardines AVALON 1 transports divers to Cuba’s marine ecosystem in the Caribbean

The Dive Safari Vacation aboard the liveaboard Jardines Avalon 1 will allow students the opportunity to visit Cuban Scientists and Marine Experts in a unique ocean conservation and cultural exchange. Cuban marine biologists will host presentations and discussions on the environment, local conservation efforts, and the ecological importance of this magnificent and remote ecosystem. This is the liveaboard Youth Dive Safari of a lifetime with diverse, rich marine environments fringed with sandy beach seascapes and exotic island adventures.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The Jardines Avalon 1  is a spacious, diver designed 110 feet (33m) long liveaboard. Guests will be welcomed by the 13 experienced English and Spanish speaking crew members. The Jardines Aggressor I liveaboard sleeps 20 guests in privacy and comfort.  The choice of cabins aboard the Jardines Aggressor I include 2 convertible Queen size cabins, featuring side-by-side beds, 8 Deluxe Staterooms, each with Single side-by-side beds. Each liveaboard Stateroom has its own private bathroom with a toilet, shower, individual climate controls and a safe. The yacht is equipped with hairdryers in each Stateroom. Linens are changed mid-week, by request, and fresh towels are placed in each Stateroom as needed.

This liveaboard Jardines AVALON 1, is the perfect combination of education, relaxation and fantastic diving.

When not enraptured with the underwater sights, guests aboard the liveaboard Jardines Avalon 1 will find plenty of onboard activities. The air-conditioned Lounge includes a large-screen TV, DVD system for watching movies and an ipod plug in for listening to music. There are plenty of fish identification books and diving magazines to browse through. Adults can enjoy the shaded Wet Bar. All photography enthusiasts will love the complete photo center with a digital video and photo editing computer.

While enjoying the fabulous views of the scenic islands, guest can enjoy taking a nap on the shaded Sun Deck or tan on the cushioned lounge chairs. There is lots of room to wander on the decks of this roomy liveaboard. What better way to end a day of diving than soaking in the liveaboard’s jacuzzi! If that wasn’t enough, guests will be able to snorkel between dives or try their hand in venture out on an exotic island shore excursion.

The liveaboard Chefs cook up selections of American Feasts, BBQ’s and Local Cuisine three times a day. Every day starts with a cooked to order breakfast then a buffet lunch. Each wonderful dive day is completed with an elegant dinner with table side service featuring salads, vegetables, seafood, beef or chicken with a fresh homemade dessert. No one goes hungry on this liveaboard dive vacation as in addition to the meals are fresh mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks. Non alcoholic beverages including fruit juices, soft drinks, iced water, iced tea, coffee are included as well as a selection of local beer and wine for adults.
