Lucy introduces a new standard of liveaboard to Djibouti, with a fresh decor and modern facilities on board

Djibouti is famous for the annual Whale Shark sightings. Each year, these magnificent creatures are spotted in the Bay of Tadjoura from late October to mid February. Grab your snorkel and fins - Whale Sharks are waiting for you! Divers and Snorkelers are welcome. This is a remote location and there's no better way to explore its rugged coastline than on board the region's newest liveaboard Lucy. Let this welcoming crew show you the very best of Djibouti's coral reef in between exhilarating encounters with Whale Sharks and Dolphins in the warm waters of the Gulf of Aden. Come and enjoy this beauty in the North tip of the Indian Ocean where it meets the South tip of the Red Sea.

In the months of March until June, visit the isolated and pristine waters of the Sudan. The vast array of diving landscape includes oblong shaped reefs, soft corals fringed in scenic reefs and of course, large pelagics. Divers will be astounded in this virtually un-dived area. Jacques Cousteau loved Sudanese waters and here is your chance to see why. With a variety of massive Gorgonians decorating vertical walls and the lurking Hammerheads are visible due to the amazing visibility - making this a Photographers paradise. There are many spectacular vertical walls as well as fascinating Ship Wrecks waiting to be explored including Jacques Cousteau's Pre-continente ll.

M/Y Lucy is a 37 meter mono hull luxury dive safari boat (live-aboard) designed for maximum level of comfort for the seasoned Scuba Diver who appreciates diving within a high standard and secure environment.

Lucy sleeps up to 20 guests in climate-controlled cabins with en suite shower, mini bar, reading lights and bedside USB charging points. The Lounge is equipped with a 65″ Ultra HD cinema surround system, hand made speakers by French firm ‘Focal’ and a Bar where a chilled draft beer is served for your ultimate leisure and relaxing time. And of course a superb three-course meal is served to our guests in a fresh and contemporary designed Dining Room.

The Dive Deck is superbly laid out with ample space for all your accessories, charging points and with superb wall mounted Bluetooth/USB Clarion music player, marine grade amps and Q Acoustics ceiling installed speakers.

The Top and Sundeck are furnished to the highest standard with bean bags and sufficient seating area or lie down for a nap or sun bathing.

The engine room is fitted with excellent machinery such as an 8000 litres a day water maker, three dive compressors, three AC chillers, two generators and last but not least, two 750HP Cummins engines.

The crew are on hand throughout your trip to make sure your trip runs smoothly. They are proud to have won national awards for the excellent level of service on board.

Freshly cooked meals everyday can be enjoyed in a lavish, contemporary styled Dining Room. Meals are proudly presented as ‘fine cuisine’ and comprises both Local and Western fare.

If you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, make sure you mention it at the time of booking. Of course, they will cater for your request.
