Description

Tip Top II Galapagos Cruises offer island visitors the breadth of sights and wildlife, all aboard the 16 guest Tip Top II motor catamaran yacht.

Top II was built in 2008 and completely redesigned in 2015-2016. The yacht's owners descend from Galapagos history books, with Captain Rolf Wittmer being the first man whose birth on Floreana Island was historically documented. Continuing with the family history of adaptation, innovation and environmental concern.

Rolf founded a tourism company with his children, and today it is well-known for offering tailor made and special interest tours around Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. Galapagos travel aboard Tip Top II is comfortable and of the highest safety standards, with top multi-lingual Naturalist Guides.

Tip Top II carries two kayaks on board as well as snorkeling equipment, all offered free of charge for its guests. Wet Suits are available to Rent, please order a wet suit before you travel. Guests are transported from the mothership in two Panga Boats for exploration on land with the dedicated Naturalist, so expect to be immersed in this enchanted land and learn as you travel around. For an insight into a few locations that Tip Top II visits, check the Diving description section.

Tip Top II operates two unique 8-day Galapagos cruise itineraries, which can be shortened into 4- or 5-day cruises or combined into more comprehensive 11- or 15-day cruises. Please see the 'Dive Description Section' for a taste of your Land Exploration Tour. Tip Top II is not a Diving Boat.

The new Tip Top II is a first class yacht with a crew of 8, the Captain, a multi-lingual Naturalist Guide, Engineer, International Cook, Barman, Waitress and two Sailors, all catering to your needs. The catamaran accommodates up to 16 passengers with social areas including a Bar, Dining Room, Lounge and Sun Deck.

Relax in spacious, well appointed cabins

A maximum of 16 passengers are accommodated in 10 air conditioned cabins. Each of the cabins has an en-suite bathroom (toilet, shower, washbasin and vanity), Locker and drawers, Hair dryer and Safety box. The cabins are situated on the Main and Upper Decks and comprise of : Main Deck - 2 cabins with one Double bed (Cabins 1 & 2) and 4 cabins with two Single beds (Cabins 3 to 6). Upper Deck - 2 cabins with two Single beds (Cabins 7 & 8) and 2 Cabins with one King size bed (Cabins 9 & 10).

The Chef onboard Tip Top II knows just how important it is to stay fuelled for your next adventure and will combine Ecuadorian and International cuisine to create delicious dishes. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated and should be noted at the time of booking. We will always have complementary: purified water, coffee or herbal teas that can be consumed free of charge.
