Ratu Laut/Barefoot Conservation Standard Operating Procedures Post Covid-19: In light of the impact caused by Covid-19 (Coronavirus), we want to reassure you that our team will be focused round-the-clock on the health and safety of all our guests and crew. Ratu Laut/Barefoot Conservation are taking standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously, as well as additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests and crew members. Ratu Laut/Barefoot Conservation has set-up procedures to follow the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO), Divers Alert Network (DAN), PADI and local health authorities. All our crew members will adhere to the latest guidance and hygiene protocols, they will be well trained to handle situations that may occur and we have confidence in their abilities. We are committed to providing our guests with a very safe and healthy stay on board. General Health & Hygiene Guidance For Guests and Crew: Admin • All medical questioners and Liability Releases will be sent via email prior boat departure • A health declaration form/COVID 19 must be sign by each costumer and send by email prior departure • All dive certification and insurance will be sent via email prior boat departure • Pens, credit card machine and all office tool will be disinfected before and after used Pick up & Drop Off Transport • Standard temperature control to all customer will be done at the moment of the pickup • Disinfection of all luggage will be done prior upload them onboard • Social Distances will be encouraged in all transfers including Taxis and speedboat reducing the number of people Boat • Standard temperature and Oxy meter will be followed by customers and crew every day of the trip • Crew will wear mask at all times during the trip • Hand Sanitizer will always be displayed all around the common areas to encourage follow a rigorous cleaning hands procedure to customers and crew • Standard protocol for social distance will be follow in common areas • All rooms will be clean and disinfected everyday by the crew wearing mask and gloves with special products design for it • Laundry for bedsheets and towel will be done following disinfecting procedures • All meals will be served by the crew wearing masks and gloves (no buffer style meals) • All seats in restaurant area will be assigned in order to follow the social distance protocol • Strict boat disinfect protocol will be followed while costumers are diving, cleaning, and disinfecting all common areas at least 3 times a day. Special attention in door handles, corridors, etc. • All customers are responsible to follow personal distance and cleaning hands protocol during the trip • All measures related COVID 19 will be brief to all customers during welcome briefing and remind it every day Diving • Dive groups will be reduced in dive deck and speedboat • In order to reduce air contamination in dive tanks, access to compressor areas will be reduced to only qualify staff • All dive gear will be cleaned with disinfectant products and running water before and after dive • Personal water buckets will be provided to all customers to put their dive mask and reg • Dive mask and regulator will be only handled by each costumer. Assemble and disassemble before and after each dive by themselves • Customers are in charge of the disinfection of their mask and regulator. We will provide all products and facilities. • Antifogging for dive mask will be provide in dive deck and speedboat. No spitting dive mask police apply. • Disinfectant tissues will be provided in speedboat to clean regulators before use it • Social distance protocol will be followed while in the surface. Dive mask and regulator on, at the surface policy will be encourage. Staff • Control temperature every day by Captain or Cruise Director • Use of Mask Mandatory • Covid-19 free certificate every trip Land Excursions • Use of mask will be mandatory for all land excursions • Disinfection of any souvenir customers may buy Symptoms on board • In case of symptoms, Isolation procedure will be followed for 3 days, if symptoms persist or get worst, evacuation to the closest hospital for further check will be put it on place.

Once we receive your booking, we double check availability with the dive operator and reserve your spot

We usually get back to you within 24 hours to confirm that your booking is final

3. 48H FREE CANCELLATION PERIOD

You then have 48 hours to take care of other travel arrangements. Your credit card will only be charged after that period

  • 0% will be charged if you cancel more than 45 days before your trip
  • 50% will be charged if you cancel between 45 and 31 days prior to arrival 
  • 100% will be charged if you cancel 30 days or less before your trip
  • Free Rescheduling to any future trip if your trip is cancelled due to COVID-19
  • This special cancellation policy is for any trips between 1st June 2020 and 31st May 2021

Queen of the Sea Ratu Laut is a modern liveaboard made in traditional style, offering liveaboard research expeditions around Raja Ampat.

Queen of the Sea Ratu Laut takes adventurous divers through spectacular scuba diving paradises. In partnership with Barefoot Conservation NGO you'll have the opportunity to take part in  tailored research trips around Raja Ampat.

Previous trips have included Manta Ray and Marine Megafauna research, Reef Check and Climate Change surveys. 

What you can expect

Queen of the Sea Ratu Laut is a small, newly refurbished vessel equipped with modern facilities and a single engine. There is space for ten guests, ensuring great service with a personal touch as you get to know your guides and crew throughout your stay. All cabins have individually controlled air-conditioning. There are 2 quad cabins and 2 twin bunk bed cabins.

In between dives passengers of Ratu Laut can spend time in 3 chill out areas, one of which has a TV to watch movies and a cozy living room. It’s an ideal space to relax, chat with other passengers on board and sample some delicious food, for any special dietary requests, such as vegetarian or any allergies, please inform the boat prior to arrival. There is also an open top deck from which you can enjoy panoramic views.
