Explore Indonesia with the Pioneer of Liveaboards
For more than three decades, Pindito has been exploring Indonesia’s most spectacular marine environments. Launched in the Banda Sea in 1992 by legendary Edi Frommenwiler, Pindito continues to set the benchmark for liveaboard diving through Raja Ampat, Komodo, Ambon, Alor, the Banda Sea, and beyond.
When Pindito first set sail over 30 years ago, it transformed liveaboard diving in Indonesia forever. With more experience than any other vessel, and tens of thousands of dives led by Edi and his seasoned crew, Pindito continues to set the standard for liveaboard excellence.
Carrying just 16 guests in eight well-planned, air-conditioned en-suite cabins, the vessel offers a relaxed yet professional atmosphere, supported by a dedicated crew of 24 and four dive tenders. This ensures seamless service and safe, efficient diving for all onboard. With up to four dives daily, complimentary Nitrox, and carefully designed itineraries, guests encounter everything from manta cleaning stations and whale migrations to vibrant reefs, thrilling drifts, and rare macro life.
Adventures don’t stop at diving. Pindito also offers snorkeling, whale and bird watching, paddle boarding, and cultural visits to remote islands. A spacious, purpose-built camera room meets the needs of photographers and videographers, while shaded lounges, a welcoming salon, and the sun deck provide plenty of space to relax between activities.
Meticulously maintained and upgraded each year, Pindito combines traditional Phinisi craftsmanship with modern reliability, boasting an impeccable safety record and a stabilized hull for smooth cruising. After decades of exploration, Edi and his crew remain passionate about discovering new dive sites and sharing the magic of Indonesia with every guest.
More than a liveaboard, Pindito is a legacy of adventure, exploration, and hospitality.
