We have studied the DAN guidelines on how to properly clean and sterilise all our rental equipment, and would like to share with you what precautions we’re taking to keep you safe. According to the CDC, household cleaners are as effective against Covid-19 as they are against common cold and flu viruses. So disinfecting the equipment our guests use personally - like regulator second stages, masks, snorkels, and BCD oral inflators is extremely important. We will sanitise everything by submerging it in a 10% bleach solution, before rinsing in fresh water, to ensure your safety. This is more effective than just scrubbing with soapy water, and will disinfect internal surfaces that aren’t as easily reached. We will also provide each guest a brand new mouthpiece for each trip - this is for personal use only, and you can take it away after, and we have a full stock of hand sanitiser on each boat, for our guests and staff to use. Around the boat, we will be making sure our hospitality crew take extra care when looking after you too. This will involve deep cleaning of the whole boat and cabins between each trip, cleaning door handles more frequently, as well as table tops, counter tops and bathrooms. From our guests, we would ask that you also do everything you can to keep yourselves and us healthy, by washing your hands regularly.
