Details

Fun Azul Maldives is a spacious and luxury liveaboard yacht with a very comfortable dhoni, diving boat, separate from the mother boat

Fun Azul Maldives provides you wth the comfort you desire in and out of the ocean. We started developing the Maldives as a diving liveaboard destination in 2005, and opened a branch office in the Maldives and have been training boat crews to provide best service available. Today, we send more than 500 Scuba Divers a year to our Dive Safari.

We continually improve the service quality from our crews and develop the best routes while maintaining the highest safety standards. Owned and operated by one of the (relatively) smaller operators in the Maldives, the Fun Azul Fleet Headquarters in based in Tokyo, Japan. Initially starting out with diving vessels in Mexico, the company has now started running this wonderful diving yacht in the Maldives – the M/V Fun Azul.

What you can expect

The M/V Fun Azul, based in the Maldives, was built in 2002 and renovated in 2017. The vessel was designed to be spacious and comfortable, which offers guests a superb Scuba Diving experience on and off board.

The M/V Fun Azul lives up to its name as fun and can accommodate 15 guests, 3 Dive Guides (English and Japanese speaking) in comfort and, as usual, there is a diving Dhoni for when the business of getting wet begins!

A wonderful feature of the M/V Fun Azul is that it offers a selection of 7 itineraries depending on season and budget requirements, meaning that there should be plenty of options to suit everyone.

With regards to accommodation there are 8 cabins on board, each with its own air-conditioning system and en-suite bathrooms. On the lower deck are 2 deluxe twin cabins with side-by-side beds, 5 deluxe cabins twin with one double bed and one single bunk. On the main deck is one single cabin.

Along with the yacht’s luxurious accommodation facilities, it also comes on the main deck equipped with its own Bar in the Saloon offering all of the usual choices of fresh fruit juice, soft drinks, cocktails, liquors, wine and draft beer. The upper deck is home to the outdoor lounge and indoor dining room.

For your further entertainment, TV, DVD and WiFi facilities are available if you desire. A BBQ on a small secluded island is also available for those guests wanting to spend some time on dry land.

Scuba diving is conducted from the ample 22m diving dhoni which also offers the full safety facilities; life jackets, first aid and fire extinguishers.
