To diving connoisseurs, Sudan's dive sites at Sanganeb, Angarosh, Sha'ab Rumi and Cousteau's Pre-continent all sound very familiar and evoke unforgettable dives. This is the place to see schools of Hammerheads with a colorful Coral backdrop, White-tip, Grey, Silk, Tiger Sharks and Longimanus regularly pass by the points of these famous reefs. But this is not only the best place to admire Sharks; pristine reefs are incredibly rich in underwater life and visited by Turtles, Mantas, schools of Barracudas & Dolphins.
The Republic of Djibouti is located on the Horn of Africa, bordered by Eritrea, Somalia & Ethiopia, with the Red Sea to the North, Indian Ocean to the South and the Gulf of Aden on it's doorstep, it gives access to some of the World's most famous bodies of water and is sure to be an absolute mecca for scuba diving.
Djibouti scuba diving is probably best known for the large numbers of the majestic Whale Sharks in it's waters. Over 200 species exist, spread out over several fabulous dive spots, and supporting huge numbers of Reef fish, including schools of Jacks, Snappers and Barracuda.

The Elegante boat is a beautiful schooner with Italian management completely renovated in summer 2009. Elegante boat can provide high comfort, thanks to a good distribution of interior and exterior spaces. There are 7 Double Cabins with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning for guests. Elegante can accommodate 14 people comfortably.

During the trip it will be possible to dive in some amazing dive spots, It is also possible to visit some very beautiful islands to spend time bird-watching. To help reach the best possible entry point at the dive sites, the Captain deploys a rubber dinghy which will be moored close to the diving point until the emergence of the Divers.
There are direct flights to Port Sudan from Cairo and Khartoum. Khartoum has direct flights from many cities in Africa and the Middle East, but most European visitors transit through Egypt. Most people fly into Cairo International Airport. It is well serviced by over 70 International Airlines from Europe, the US, Africa and Asia.
