Details

The Kona Aggressor II with its spacious design, whisks divers away to the thrilling underwater adventures of Hawaii’s Big Island

The luxurious Kona Aggressor II liveaboard is a Diver’s dream as it travels along the western coast of the island to sites like Paradise Pinnacle, Tubestria Tunnel, The Hive, Turtle Pinnacle and Rob’s Reef. The liveaboard yacht ventures far from the reach of day operators to beautiful South Point, the southernmost tip of Hawaii and the United States, weather permitting. With lava flows in the background, Divers suit up for a week of spectacular diving.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The 80-foot (24 meter) Kona Aggressor II liveabaord was built in Built in 1992 as a diving liveaboard, sparing no expense for the comfort and safety of Divers. The spacious liveaboard catamaran design ensures stability and easily accommodates 14 guests and 6 crew members. During the day, guests are more than welcome to take a dip in Hawaii’s warm waters from the swim platform.

In addition, the ‘Moon Deck’ Bar provides a central meeting point for guests to discuss the day’s dives. With many of the dive sites featuring amazing snorkeling, Non-Divers have the opportunity to come and go from the water as they please as diving is conducted from the mothership. Don’t let your Non-Diving friends feel left out. Bring them along on your liveaboard Diving Adventure!

The luxurious air conditioned liveaboard  cabins come in two styles: 5 Double Staterooms and 1 Quad Stateroom. The Double Staterooms feature a Lower Double bed with an Upper Single bunk and are located on the Lower Deck. The roomy Quad is located on the Upper Deck and has two sets of full sized beds in Bunk formation. All liveaboard Staterooms have full windows, private hot-water showers, individual climate controls, safes, hair dryers and bath robes. Linens are changed mid-week and fresh towels are replaced in each Stateroom as needed.

Aboard the Kona Aggressor II, there will be as much fun on deck as there is on the liveaboard dive safaris

Between dives, guests have access to the spacious Salon, a shaded Sun Deck with loungers and chairs, a Wet Bar, Grill, ‘Moon Deck’ Bar and a Jacuzzi. While there is no Wi-Fi, cell phones usually have reception during the trip. Nightly liveaboard entertainment includes fish identification sessions, movies, games and a surround-sound stereo. Enjoy a book from the library, soak in the Jacuzzi with your favorite drink or review your dive photos from a lighted table for slide sorting.

Meals on board the Kona Aggressor II are served in the air conditioned dining area and are created especially for busy divers.

Breakfast begins with cooked-to-order hot entrees including waffles and eggs, Fresh Tropical Fruit and Juices and Cereals. Lunch is served as a buffet, while dinner is table service in the dining area. You can expect an elegant meal each night prepared by the ship’s talented, experienced Chef. The amazing menu includes American fare, BBQ and local Hawaiian specialties and includes salads, vegetables, seafood, beef or chicken with a fresh homemade dessert. Once onboard, please speak to the chef about any special needs. Certain special dietary and beverage requests may not be available due to the remote nature of this location.

Don’t miss your chance to dine under the bright Hawaiian stars on the liveaboard’s Upper Deck. After dinner outside, you’ll be able to enjoy a Cocktail at the ‘Moon Deck’ Bar. In addition to the meals, 2 fresh snacks are provided between meals. All hot drinks, soft drinks, juices, beer and wine are included. Keep in mind that due to federal regulation, the liveaboard onboard Bar must remain closed while Divers are in the water and while the boat is tied to any of Kona’s piers.
