South America is a gem of a continent with a number of incredible dive spots, including Fernando de Noronha, considered the best scuba diving destination in Brazil, Easter Island and Robinson Crusoe Islands in Chile, Malpelo Island in Columbia - home to a unique shark population, Mochima National Park in Venezuela with 36 islands just offshore and over 50 dive sites, and the crown jewels... the Galapagos, a World Heritage Site where you encounter creatures with no fear of man and some of the rarest species known on the planet.
