With some of the best dive sites in the Red Sea, Brothers Islands regularly welcome liveaboard divers in search of oceanic whitetip and silvertip sharks, gorgeous coral walls and shipwrecks.
Often combined with Daedalus and Elphinstone on liveaboard itineraries, the Brothers Islands (also known as El Akhawein) offer slightly challenging dive sites, and this pair of small, volcanic islands boast some of the best diving in the Red Sea. Sheer drop-offs, plenty of fish and beautiful coral walls along with a smattering of wrecks (incl. the Numidia and Aida) await the adventurous. Silvertips, hammerheads, oceanic whitetips and grey reef sharks are often spotted in the area. The Brothers Islands can only be reached by liveaboard. Typically, dive safari itineraries last 7 days, and the best time to dive in the Red Sea is from September to November and April to June.
