In addition to the limestone cliffs overlooking the sea, Portu Pedrosu has an important siphon that can be visited by expert divers. Entering from the deepest part, at about 18 meters, the siphon extends for 20 meters in length and ends with a window at about 6 meters deep. Inside the siphon it is possible to admire the characteristic fauna of the cave environment: the sponges lose their bright colors and appear almost dazzling white. There are numerous red king mullets that swim close to the walls and molluscs such as sea clams and umbraculum mediterraneum that nest in the eroded rock. Thanks to the rocky conformation of this suggestive fjord, it is possible to admire the play of light that forms between the windows and underwater passages.
