Punta Sottile
Overview
Description
The Punta Sottile site is one of five sites on the Trieste coast authorized for diving (see Trieste Coastal Police Ordinance 37/2011). The area is intended for swimmers accustomed to the presence of divers. There are no services on site, except for a shower during the summer. About 200 meters away is a serviced area with a bar and restrooms open only during the summer. The underwater area features an ancient Roman pier. Diving in this area is regulated by the Trieste Coastal Police Ordinance.
