This stunning dive site features two towering pinnacles rising from 18 meters to just 5 meters below the surface. Their upper sections are encrusted with red bait, sheltering knobbly and false plum anemones, while deeper areas are covered in bryozoans and vibrant seafans.
Schools of blacktails, hottentots, fransmadams, and zebras are common, with janbruins and large Roman hiding in the cracks. Nudibranchs like crowned and gasflames are abundant, along with rarer species like the orange-eyed nudi. To the south, sea cucumbers, strawberry anemones, and seafans thrive, while the north hosts a dense seafan forest.
At 29 meters, the sandy bottom is a nursery for puffadder shysharks, with an unusual number of dark shysharks also present. With its dramatic topography and rich marine life, Atlantis Reef is a must-dive site.
