When not under the water, divers can expect plenty of space to relax aboard the Georgiana

The Georgiana runs weekly, 6-night liveaboard trips departing between August and February. A professional crew giving you personalized attention every minute, with a mixture of the warmth and friendly way of the Cubans mixed with the highest European quality standards and infrastructure.

Wake up in a cabin and look through the window, all you will see are lonely white sand beaches. Your boat will be alone in many miles of Mangrove, Cays, Beaches and Rocky Islands. With noone else diving there! Georgiana live-aboard stays in exclusive loneliness, in an unforgettable diving week.

Launched in 2013, the 30-meter Georgiana was built to accommodate Divers in every way possible. This comfort begins with the smooth five-hour journey to the Gardens of the Queen and continues throughout all 7 days.

The open-air Salon is perfect for dining in the sea breeze or relaxing and playing games around the large tables. The Upper Deck offers a panoramic view of pristine islets without another soul in sight. A Bar and BBQ area are sure to delight your gastronomic senses. And the spacious Sun Deck is perfect for taking advantage of Cuba’s tropical climate. The yacht is equipped with a satellite phone for emergency calls.

The Georgiana includes space for up to 18 guests in 6 cabins. Because each cabin has room for three guests, it is rare that the ship carries its full capacity. The staterooms are equipped with individually-controlled air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms with hot water, charging sockets and a cupboard for storage. To accommodate three guests, each cabin includes a set of Bunk beds as well as a Single bed.

Fabulous Food keeps you fuelled for the next dive onboard Georgiana

As with the rest of the Avalon Fleet, you will be spoiled by the quality of food available on board. Boasting the ‘best seafood in the world,’ the crew is known for its succulent lobster dishes. Dessert isn’t forgotten either. The Cuban flan and rum sauce are delicious to the last bite. The large menu includes both Cuban and International dishes.

A hearty breakfast is served prior to the morning dive. Lunch and dinner often include fresh seafood, chicken or pork served by buffet or family-style depending on the number of guests. Most meals are enjoyed in the open air salon with a panoramic view of majestic waters during the day and the bright Caribbean stars in the evening.

All meals, a variety of snacks and water are included in your stay. Soft drinks, fresh juices, alcohol, beer and wine are available for purchase from the onboard bar. Kosher and Vegetarian dishes can be arranged given advance notice.

The Georgiana provides guests with plenty of activities to fill non-diving hours. The comfortable Lounge is a central meeting point for discussing the day’s diving and sharing photos with one another. Sun-seekers will enjoy extra time on the spacious Sun Deck, which is also perfect for stargazing in the evening. The Bar is always open for drinks, both hard and soft, following the last dive of the day. Depending on the boat’s permit, fishing equipment may also be available for catch-and-release angling.

Between the first and second dives every day, guests will have the opportunity to search for rare flora and fauna on deserted islands or sunbathe on pristine beaches. These Land Excursions are as memorable as the diving. In addition, you’ll have the chance to Snorkel with endangered Cuban Crocodiles. Make sure to have your camera ready. A shot of a mighty Croc will impress your friends back home.
