La Reina liveaboard sails through the remote Jardines de la Reina and is a good option for any budget

The liveaboard La Reina is one of only very few liveaboards allowed access to Cuba’s Marine Park and managed by the most experienced liveaboard operator in Cuba, Avalon Fleet. No matter if you are diving with sharks or if you belong the more couragous variety and are snorkelling with crocodiles, you will be in professional hands with safety as the top prIority.

This comfortable and intimate liveaboard yacht with an open-air dining area, lounge and sun deck is particularly suited for small group charters. The company can arrange both diving and angling trips for private groups. There’s nothing better than exploring a pristine underwater paradise among a group of good friends.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

At 69-feet, liveaboard La Reina is more than equipped to accommodate its guests’ needs. Completely refurbished in 2005, this liveaboard yacht is ready for any dive expedition.

Liveaboard La Reina hosts four cabins to accommodate eight guests, making it a rather intimate diving yacht. Each of the surprisingly spacious staterooms features two single beds, storage drawers, air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms with hot water showers. All of the liveaboard cabins are found on the Lower Deck. The liveaboard yacht is equipped with a satellite phone for emergency calls. There is a luandary servfice and daily house keeping on the vessel.

This liveaboard handles the 5 hour crossing to the Gardens of the Queen with ease. You won’t spill a drop of your cocktail along the way.

Diving may be the most important activity on board La Reina, but eating is a close second.

The skilled Chef cooks up delicious Cuban and Italian food. Lobster is the house speciality with delicious seafood and traditional Cuban favorites like rice and beans, black bean soup and fried bananas. Beverages available on board are: Bottled mineral water, sparkling and tonic water, various soft drinks, juices, beers, rums, whisky and excellent wines (6 beverages/day included in the package). All liveaboard meals, snacks and water are included in your stay. Other Soft drinks, fresh juices, alcohol, beer and wine are available for purchase on board. Kosher and vegetarian dietary restrictions can be catered for, given advance notice.
