Explorer Ventures is proud to announce the fleet’s newest addition: the M/V Majestic Explorer

With recent approval and permit from the National Park Foundation, the Majestic Explorer will join the M/V Humboldt Explorer in the Galapagos Islands starting in August 2018.  The luxurious 35-meter (115 feet) vessel will offer 8 day/7 night itineraries to some of the best dive sites in the Galapagos Islands.

Starting in Baltra, the itinerary will take you to Cabo Douglas to see the Marine Iguanas, Punta Vicente Roca to dive with the Mola Mola, Wolf & Darwin Islands to dive with the Hammerheads and will finish at Cousin’s Rock where they will experience great Macro Diving before returning to Baltra.

The unique and spacious Majestic Explorer motor yacht was specifically designed and built to cruise through the Galapagos.

Aboard the Majestic Explorer, lunch and evening meals usually consist of lots of salad, potatoes, rice, chicken, beef, pork, and fish. Breakfast is the usual fare of eggs, cereal, toast and fresh fruits. If you have any dietary restrictions or requests, please indicate so on your application form. Please note that specific brands of soft drinks, dressings and foods are often unavailable in the islands, and that it can be very difficult for us to find low-fat or soy products, fresh fruit, fish, and other items common elsewhere.

While we will do our best to accommodate your requests, please be realistic and consider bringing some of your own foods if the lack thereof may constitute a health risk or seriously compromise the enjoyment of your holiday.

The vessel accommodates 16 guests in 8 air-conditioned Twin/Queen Staterooms, all are en-suite with private bath and showers. Cabins are located on the Main and Lower Decks with windows maximizing views of the Pacific Ocean. The air-conditioned Salon on the Main Deck offers tables for dining, TV, CD/DVD and Video, Bar and Lounge area. Sunning areas with ample seating and a Jacuzzi are located on the Top Deck.

The Dive Deck will be equipped with individual gear bins, camera table, recharging station, air and Nitrox filling stations, tank racks and a separate fresh water rinse tank for Underwater Camera equipment. Diving operations are conducted from two large Pangas (tenders), easily boarded from the Dive Deck. The vessel’s handpicked Guides are highly experienced and trained to make this Galapagos experience a memorable one.
