Cabins

Description

Komodo Shalom is ideal for the budget-conscious traveler looking for modern facilities and a good mix of socializing and diving.

Sail through Komodo National Park

Komodo Shalom sails through one of the most famous dive areas of the world – the UNESCO protected Komodo National Park. The park is located at the southern end of the Coral Triangle, forming part of the Lesser Sunda chain of Indonesian islands, where the Indian and Pacific Oceans meet.

The variety of marine life here is incredible: from sunfish, mantas, dolphins and eagle rays to pygmy seahorses, nudibranch, range of colourful sponges, sea squirts, tunicates and amazing corals.

Access the water via the custom-build dive deck, complete with a filling station and diving dinghies.

Private sleep pods and ocean-view windows

This strong and capable liveaboard is designed to explore the magnificence of the Komodo area, but there is also plenty of room for socializing and places for privacy on the sundecks, cabins, dining areas.

There are four twin-berth cabins and on large eight-berth dorm.  Each bed has been designed as a “sleep pod” with individual power outlet, LED reading lamp, personal fan and privacy curtain. Cabins are fully air-conditioned, have secure storage for personal gear and an opening sea view window. The three onboard bathrooms are shared by all guests and all have warm water showers.

Fuel-up on sustainable produce

The main dining area is located just in front, where you can help yourself with coffee, tea, toast, water, electrolyte drinks and fresh fruit which is on the table at all times.

Great attention is given to eco-sustainability, including not serving fish at meals. Special dietary requests can be catered for as much as possible in these remote locations.
