Having been a PADI Recreational Diving Centre since 2021, we pride ourselves in offering a very personal experience by only teaching in small well supported groups and this is rewarded by the way our customers often go on to become friends.

Right from the start you will notice the difference, we don’t ask you to commit to booking a course immediately (although you can if you want), we would rather discuss how you got to the decision to become PADI Diver and how best to make our multi award winning training work for you by clearly identifying your goals & fully supporting you during your journey.

We also understand that our clients live busy lifestyles and are not always able to commit to a standard format course this is why we also offer personal bespoke courses to those who are time challenged.

At SDL we offer the full range of faculties you would expect at any dive centre worldwide: -

•          Diving Accessories – clips, snap bolts, mask & fin straps, mouthpieces. etc ..etc

•          Air fills up to 300bar from our 225l/min compressor – Drop off & pick up service or while you wait (by prior arrangement).

•          Equipment rental.

•          A comprehensive range of PADI Courses up to Instructor (some courses supplied by our partners).

•          PADI Seal Team – Monthly children’s dive club (8-12).

•          Marshalled dives in the UK.

•          Escorted dive trips abroad

•          Informal dive club allowing for discounted Air Fills, equipment rental, courses, pool use and UK dive trips.

Our founder Dave started diving in 2000 as a result of a chance meeting with a work colleague, he spent 10 years working his way through the PADI course catalogue as well as diving regularly.  In 2010 he discovered the wonder of supporting others during their journey and worked in Spain at a busy dive centre for a season learning all aspects of running a PADI Dive Centre.  He currently holds the coveted qualification of IDC Staff Instructor and is qualified to teach up to PADI Assistant Instructor, he is also a qualified SSI instructor having previously managed an SSI Dive Centre in the UK.

In short you are in safe experienced hands with SDL, proved by the way that previously trained students have even gone on to open own their own dive centres as a result of the high level of training received from us.
