Duyung Baru is a traditional wooden yacht that offers adventure for a small group of Divers. This family owned operation has expertise in finding the most spectacular dive sites where you won’t see any other Divers. It is the perfect dive vessel for exploring Indonesia on the ultimate Dive Safari and experiencing Vibrant Corals, large Pelagics and greatest Marine Bio-diversity on the Planet.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
The traditional style liveaboard the Duyung Baru is 89 feet (27m) long and was refurbished in 2016. She carries 5 experienced and welcoming English, German and Indonesian speaking crew members. Only 6 guests can be accommodated aboard this quaint and comfortable vessel. The Duyung Baru has been designed to be an extremely practical, clean and efficient diving vessel, while also being fitted with all the modern conveniences of a luxury hotel. The 3 comfortable cabins are perfect for sleeping and resting between dives and come in the following choices: 1 Twin cabin suitable for 2 people with 2 King size Single beds, and 2 Queen size Double bed cabins. All of the beds have high quality mattresses ensuring you have the best sleep possible. Each air-conditioned cabin contains an en-suite bathroom featuring an extremely clean shower and private toilet for our guests. Our cabins are maintained and cleaned each morning when guests are out on their first dive of the day.
When not enjoying the spectacular diving, guests on the liveaboard Duyung Baru have several options for leisure time activities. Guests may relax in the main air-conditioned Lounge with TV, CD / DVD entertainment centre, where you can listen to music or watch a favorite movie. There is even a small library for borrowing books and a photograph station to view the amazing underwater photos you will be capturing. While enjoying the fabulous archipelago vistas, guests may work on their tan on the Sundeck or nap on the lounge chairs on the covered Sundeck. The land excursions to explore the exotic islands and unique wildlife are sure to add a huge thrill to this already spectacular vacation. For those that prefer more activity, they can try their hand at fishing or spend some time snorkeling between dives. No matter what you chose for your leisure time activity, all will be accompanied by the gorgeous island seascapes.

Guests will have access to a mouth watering buffet in the Dining area of the main Saloon that includes plenty of variety and lots of fresh vegetables. The freshly prepared menu will feature Western and authentic Indonesian and Japanese culinary delights. “Yanis Kitchen”, is the galley where fresh food will be prepared all day. Hungry guests can enjoy freshly prepared meals and snacks throughout the day. The amount and variety of food will be sure to satisfy even the largest of appetites. Beer is available and guests are welcomed to bring their own alcohol.
