Cocos Island, located 342 miles off Costa Rica’s coast, is one of the most sought after diving destination in the world. The towering pinnacles of Cocos lure big animals and the thrill they bring. Surround yourself in schools of Hammerheads, White-tipped Sharks, Mantas or even Whale Sharks as they all hail from the hometown of Cocos Island.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
The liveaboard Okeanos Aggressor I was refurbished in 2014 with every detail designed to make your Dive Adventure unforgettable. When not exploring the hidden corners of the exotic islands, the goal of the Okeanos Aggressor I liveaboard is to provide outstanding service and onboard pleasures. 2 motorised dive tenders - Dive Deck with toilet, camera table and rinse tank - Main Deck with air-conditioned Saloon with TV, video player, music system, movie library, books, magazines and satellite telephone - Computer, internet, photo and video editing facilities - Dedicated Restaurant and Bar - Sundeck and shaded area with sun chairs. The ship has a central safe for storing any valuables.
Divers have a choice of 3 types of cabins on board, liveaboard Okeanos Aggressor I has 10 cabins, all with private en-suite bathrooms. There are 9 Deluxe cabins. 3 Deluxe cabins are located on the Upper Deck and 2 on the Lower Deck, these liveaboard cabins each have a Double bed and a Single Top Bunk bed (for twin share). 4 Deluxe cabins with Twin bunk beds are also located on the Lower Deck. A Quad cabin (with two Double beds, each with a Single Top Bunk bed) is located in the bow of the Lower Deck.
Costa Rica Pacific Islands marine beauty has been rated one of the top best places to scuba dive in the world. Scuba diving with the liveaboard Okeanos Aggressor offers up to four action packed dives each day along with spectacular dusk dives. No night dives are allowed. The liveaboard offers you jungle tours or private swim at a spectacular waterfall.
Food on board
The menu onboard is varied and plentiful, with a variety of American feasts, barbecues and local cuisine. If you have any special dietary requirements, please advise the US office as soon as possible so the yacht can adequately prepare to meet your needs. You will wake up to fresh fruit, hot entrees, cereals and juices. Lunches are buffet-style, featuring hot soups, homemade breads, salads and sandwiches and/or entrees.
Dinners are Chef prepared and served each evening as table side service and include salads, vegetables, seafood, beef or chicken with a fresh homemade dessert. Once onboard, please speak to the Chef about any special needs. Certain special dietary and beverage requests may not be available due to the remote nature of this location.
As with all the Aggressor Fleet, soft drinks and alcohol are complimentary whilst onboard.
