From the Philippines to Myanmar in the west and Indonesia in the South, Southeast Asia is a tropical diving destination with something for everyone, from beginners to advanced divers. Including the outstanding biodiversity of Raja Ampat, the World War II wrecks of the Philippines, the whales sharks of the Similan Islands and the huge schools of fish in Sipadan, this part of Asia is a playground of dive sites. While it’s possible to dive many areas in Southeast Asia from land-based operations, the best sites are located in remote regions only accessible by liveaboard. Most dive safaris last 4 to 10 nights, and, thanks to its large geographical area, the region can be dived year-round.
