Well known for its blue hole, Belize offers superb diving conditions in the Caribbean. Whale sharks, turtles, rays, sharks and dolphins are just a few of the species you’ll see on a liveaboard cruise.
Located in the heart of the Caribbean, the Belizean coast boasts spectacular waters for diving, including the second biggest barrier reef in the world and the famous Belize blue hole. To the south, whale shark sightings are common as are interactions with turtles and reef sharks. Most liveaboard diving in Belize focuses on the area to the east of Belize City where Lighthouse Reef, the Blue Hole and Turneffe Atoll can be found. These sites are considered the best in the country and are located a couple of hours offshore. Liveaboard itineraries in Belize usually last from 7 to 10 days, and the best time to dive in this Caribbean country is from March to December.
