Good year-round diving with several large marine reserves, stunning caves and mysterious wrecks make our dive hotels in Kenya popular with travellers.
Dive resorts in Kenya are becoming increasingly popular as the diving is generally good all year round, although visibility lessens during July and August due to silting and high seas. October to March is the best time to take a dive vacation in Kenya, when the weather is consistently warm and sunny, and the water is balmy making for comfortable diving conditions. Kenya has several large marine reserves to choose from, including the well-protected Watamu Marine National Park where the endangered green sea turtle goes to lay her eggs. Dive with some of East Africa's largest manta rays, hawksbill turtles and bottlenose dolphins at the Kisite Mpunguti Reserve or explore Barracuda Reef at Malindi. The dive sites in Kenya also offer some incredible caves and mysterious wrecks.
