All of Mafia's diving is tide dependent which means that our departure times, types of diving available as well as the underwater conditions vary on a week to week basis.
We'll plan your dives based on the conditions of the day and your preferences. If you're flexible, we can recommend specific dates to visit to optimize dive conditions.
Our double dive boat trips always visit two different reefs and in between dives we serve tea, coffee, filtered water and local snacks.
We also offer incredible muck dives straight from our shore and special trips to explore reefs at night and explore sites further afield.
We dive off traditional dhows which is an experience in itself: when the wind blows strong enough we can raise the sail and glide to/from the shore.
All of our boat trips launch from our dive centre on Utende beach which overlooks the heart of the marine park: Chole bay. If the tide is right, we can pick up and drop off guests from select hotels.
